I've seen stuff like this used a lot with my bases (and everyone else's). No offense to anyone, but seriously... At least try to make it decent.

Things wrong with this base:
1. saved as JPG/JPEG
2. left the credit text ("base by Hana-Pixels." you're supposed to remove that and credit in the author's comments).
3. NO effort whatsoever
4. used the paintbrush tool when you're generally supposed to use the pencil tool (or straight/curved line tool)
5. added more blood in a weird color when you could just copy the technique used by the base artist
6. shading looks... unrealistic.
7. didnt even bother to erase the head outline

Guys, I really do appreciate you using my bases and stuff, but seriously, it makes me... a little upset whenever I see something like this. I'm not going to link to anyone's pictures or start name-calling, but you know if you've done it and please remember I'm NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN, it's just that you need to start learning how to correctly pixel. You should go look up a tutorial of how to do it.

Its how people start you have to give them time
most people use bases becuse they dont feel they draw well enogh or for a short cut

If they feel like they don't draw well enough, they should practice - and bases aren't a good way to practice drawing by hand. They can be good references, yes, but they're really for pixel art, not traditional.
As for using them as a "short cut," that's... I don't understand? It doesn't sound like a good idea. You shouldn't use a short cut if you want to improve.

Oh jeez, you caught me! Hehe, just joking. I've always tried hard on my pixeling-ness, even if it takes a long time. I feel like if you're going to use a nice base, you have to make the final picture nice. Oh, and this picture and description always make me laugh.

I am still trying my hand at nice pixel art, but I never did anything this bad... even when I was 5. To all the people who might draw like this or who hardly went to art scool like me:

TRY DOING ORIGONAL ART WITH PENCIL AND PAPER. You will learn much quicker that way :3 Bases are nice to use, so long as you WORK on them. Don't make it look like this please, it's an eyesore. I am not trying to be rude, all people need is practise like everyone else.

Ahem,but I defiantly respect you for making this.
I've never made a base myself nor am I very good at coloring/editing them but atleast I try,but I do HATE HATE to see someone's hard work gone down the drain when someone spends less than five minutes working on a base he/she might have worked on for five days.
