I decided to do what all the new generation kiddies are doing and put only the plate on. It's connecting the pleated skirt. I also decided to give her awesometastic shoes. Plain old ninja sandals just wouldn't cut it. They're kind of like Hinata's shoes in timeskip (or Tenten's), except a little bit more complicated. And cooler than Hinata's or Tenten's. I still have to decide what I want to do with her hair, though. I'm thinking either silver, white, or blonde. I also gave her gloves under the sleeves. Because every ninja needs gloves. Unless you're an Akatsuki member.

At first, I didn't know what I was going to make her outfit look like. I knew I wanted to at least have some black and white in it, and maybe keep some red. In the end, I decided I didn't really want red in it because it would look too Akatsuki-ish before she even joined.


Then I remembered an outfit I made up a while ago and I thought of the short, not-all-the-way-around, pleated skirt. I thought a leotard-type thing would go with it best. I also was browsing OCs here on dA and saw a few with vests/jackets and decided Hana should have one, so I threw it on. I've also always been a fan of ridiculously long sleeves, so I gave her some. To make fighting easier, right before a battle, she uses those gray strings from her sleeves to roll them up a bit so she can maneuver easier.

What's that thing she's holding, you say? It's a giant sewing needle. Yup. I decided that puppetry was getting kind of boring for me (but I still love Sasori) and I needed to think of something a little more original. And giant needles are wicked. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep her in the Sand village either, because I'm fond of the idea of her being an ANBU... And maybe even an ANBU Black Op when she's older... But I'm not sure. (Ever since I saw Komachi in CoN: Revolution 2, I thought ANBU looked pretty sweet.) I'm not sure where to put her forehead protector. I don't want it on her forehead, though. Maybe I'll do what other new-generation OCs are doing and only use the plate with the village sign on it instead of the cloth part? I dunno. Ideas?

I'm also not quite sure what to do with her shoes.
